We’ve done the research, and we’re excited to share about our top pick for the most eco-friendly, low-tox baby pram on the market: the Bumbleride range. We bought the Indie and love it.
These prams are built for any terrain, whether it’s city streets or soft sand, handling it all with ease. They’re designed to go anywhere you need to be. Additionally, these prams are free from PFAS, fire retardant, PVC, BPA, phthalates, polyurethane foam, chlorine, vinyl, and formaldehyde. Such a combination of being toxin-free is rare and worth every penny!
What we love most is that these prams are newborn ready with no attachments needed. We opted for the bassinet and the Bumbleride Indie, which was available at a special price, making it perfect for newborns right from the start. The prams are also lightweight, easy to fold, compact, and practical for busy parents. The one-step fold and standing stow feature is incredibly convenient, and you can even attach a toddler board for older kids.
Bumbleride prams are the most eco-friendly strollers we’ve found. They are made from PFAS-free, recycled materials and use a dye process that saves 95-150 liters of water per stroller. Their manufacturing headquarters are impressively clean and green, making them a standout choice for environmentally conscious parents.
The rain jacket included with the pram is also PFAS-free and made with durable water-repellent materials. It works great and keeps your little one dry without any toxins. This is a rare and valuable feature.
We also tried and loved several accessories, including the organic cotton infant insert, which is super soft, the non-PVC rain cover that is both toxin-free and effective, the bassinet, the organic cotton bassinet mattress cover, the reversible seat liner, and the parent pack, which is handy and can fit a large water bottle to keep moms hydrated. Our three-year-old particularly enjoys the mini board, referring to it as his “skateboard.”
There are other accessories available that we didn’t try, such as the cold weather footmuff, car seat adapters, travel bag, and organic cotton seat liner. All these accessories are toxin-free as well.
Investing in wellness and reducing toxins is more than a trend – it’s a movement. Kudos to Bumbleride for leading the way!
